Our North American Facilities team specialise in binding authority business written by way of delegated underwriting authorities to Managing General Agents. The vast majority of business written is located in North America.

Canopius is a significant player in the Lloyd's excess and surplus lines market writing a diverse portfolio of business. Classes written include Commercial Property, Homeowners, Casualty and Automobile.

We write Homeowners business in both the USA and Canada. We are not a market for high value Homeowners business and focus on the middle market in terms of property values.

We seek to establish strong relationships with our agents, developing a deep understanding of their needs and enabling us to tailor our products accordingly. In so doing, we work closely with specialist Lloyd's brokers through which this business is sourced. We focus on our core areas of expertise and pride ourselves on our flexibility and service, combined with sound underwriting judgement and appropriate controls to develop products tailed to the needs of our clients.
