We are a leading Lloyd's underwriter offering protection for small specialist Commercial Property in the UK, Europe and Australasia.

This business line covers sectors including Commercial (e.g. retail, services, distribution); Light Industrial (e.g. food, drink, engineering, printers) and Leisure (e.g. hotels, restaurants, amusements, nightclubs). We work closely with Lloyd's brokers and specialised coverholders to provide products appropriate to their distribution channels and customer requirements. We have a particular expertise on smaller risks where we, together with our supporting brokers, have developed specialist knowledge.

Our experience in this class is demonstrated by our track record. Many of our major business partners have been placing business with us for over ten years. We focus on our core areas of expertise and pride ourselves on our flexibility and service, combined with sound underwriting judgement in developing products tailored to the needs of our clients. We underwrite on a lead or binding basis on over 70% of the business we underwrite.

We also underwrite Commercial property through our Arista Insurance, a UK underwriting agency in which we hold a strategic ownership interest. This book is focused towards a network of independent brokers accessed via the provision of sophisticated IT solutions, supported by regional offices.
