Our property catastrophe account is geared towards Florida-only insurers and Puerto Rico-only insurers that possess superior risk profile characteristics. These include high quality data, strong management teams, profitable underwriting track records, sophistication in underwriting and claims management, a close proximity to primary production sources and a material amount of surplus/equity.

Canopius also underwrites Treaty Reinsurance in London via its Lloyd's operation, Canopius Managing Agents Limited. In addition, it underwrites a book of Asian reinsurance business in Singapore via Canopius Asia.
