We are a leading reinsurer specialising in business from the Asia region, offering high quality Lloyd's (A+ /A) security.

We write a broad portfolio of reinsurance business across the Asia region. Our portfolio ranges from Property reinsurance (Risk XL, Catastrophe XL and Pro-rata) to Motor XL, Liability XL, Marine XL, PA and Agriculture business.

We employ a local team who have a strong knowledge of the region, their clients and their local markets. They employ highly technical underwriting methodologies that deliver a consistent underwriting approach throughout the cycle, whilst retaining a flexible and responsive approach to meeting clients' requirements. We pride ourselves on delivering high service standards towards our business producers and clients and aim to develop long-standing relationships with targeted clients willing to take the longer term view, as well as providing solutions to intermediaries' short term requirements where appropriate.

Canopius also underwrites Treaty Reinsurance in London via its Lloyd's operation, Canopius Managing Agents Limited. In addition, it underwrites a book of Florida and Puerto Rican homeowners' reinsurance business via Canopius Underwriting Bermuda Limited.
