Canopius Europe
Canopius Europe, a reinsurance underwriting platform based in Zurich, commenced operations in May 2011.
This operation has a dedicated focus on European treaty reinsurance business and underwrites on behalf of Canopius Group's Syndicate 4444 at Lloyd's.
Canopius Europe is headed by Eric Gutiérrez and forms part of Canopius's International operating division, headed by Jim Giordano, Group Chief Underwriting Officer.
