Our Strategic Business Units
In April 2012 we announced a reorganisation of our underwriting structure with the formation of two new strategic business units: Global Property and Global Specialty, headed by Mike Duffy and Steve Gargrave respectively.
Our third strategic business unit, UK Retail was created in 2011 and is headed by Tim Rolfe.
All three CEOs sit on Canopius's Group Executive Committee which has responsibility for managing all business underwritten within the Canopius Group.

Direct & facultative commercial property, North American excess and surplus lines binding authorities, property treaty reinsurance
Global specialty
Marine and energy insurance and reinsurance, casualty insurance and reinsurance, construction & engineering, political risk and crisis management (including International accident & health)
UK retail
Property facilities (including household and specialist property/niche personal lines), SME commercial, personal accident & travel, professional indemnity, motor
