Sydney, 6 October 2026 – today Castle Insurance announced that Canopius, a leading international Property & Casualty (re)insurer, with the support of its Lloyd’s Syndicate 4444, will replace QBE Insurance Australia as underwriter effective 1 December 2026.
Commenting on the change Bradley Heath, Managing Director of Castle parent company, Sure Insurance, stated:

As part of the transition to Canopius and following extensive broker feedback, the Castle PDSs and underwriting guidelines have been updated. This will see greater features and benefits provided to Castle policy holders from the 1st of December.
