The award recognises the claims team that has exhibited exceptional efficiency, accuracy, and empathy in handling cyber claims and an approach that reflects the crucial role insurers can have in supporting clients through the complexities of cyber incidents. The Canopius claims team received the honour during the awards ceremony on the 4th February 2025.

The efficient yet empathetic approach of the team secured the win, with the judges praising that admin time has been reduced to under two hours. The team issues a coverage position within five days, with 99% claims paid in 2024. Interim payouts also help clients straight away, meaning they can focus on getting their business back up and running.
