London, 25 March 2026 – Canopius, a leading international Specialty and P&C (re)insurer, today announced two senior appointments: Dan Bridges as Head of Claims, Bermuda & Global Head of Reinsurance Claims, and Patrick Cannon as Global Head of Cyber Claims.
Dan will be based in Bermuda and brings more than two decades of London Market experience. He joins from SCOR P&C, where he spent six years as Head of UK and MEA Treaty Claims. His previous roles include Head of Claims at Pioneer Underwriters and Head of Reinsurance Claims at Markel.
Patrick will be based in London and joins from Onda, where he served as Chief Claims Officer for two years. He brings over twenty years of experience, having held senior claims positions at Marsh and Tokio Marine Kiln.
These appointments further demonstrate Canopius’ commitment to delivering claims excellence globally. Dan and Patrick will join the business in August and May respectively.
