We have in-house engineering capabilities, including a chartered mining engineer professional with more than 40 years of experience who reviews engineering information, conducts on-site insurance risk surveys, and produces corresponding market reports while also offering guidance to clients where required.

What we do
We provide all risks of physical loss or damage, including machinery breakdown and business interruption coverage, for a broad array of clients, from small single-site operations to global mining companies. We particularly specialise in mid-tier miners. This encompasses both above-ground and below-ground risks and includes associated processing and refining techniques and ancillary infrastructure.
We provide cover for the majority of commodities, including but not limited to:

- Metallurgical coal
We also provide All Risk physical damage, machinery breakdown and business interruption cover for the production of steel and aluminium products, including smelting, casting, rolling, and recycling processes.
